Same Day ACH Payout For A Seller
If you don’t see your payout yet, don’t worry. Your funds are safe. It may be because of how Same Day ACH works. Timing depends on business days, cutoff windows, and your bank’s posting schedule.
Quick Summary
- Payouts only process on business days (no weekends or federal holidays).
- Same Day ACH cutoff times (Eastern Time):
- 10:30 AM ET → funds by ~1:30 PM local bank time
- 2:45 PM ET → funds by ~5:00 PM local bank time
- 4:45 PM ET → funds by your bank’s end of day
- Payments after 4:45 PM ET are sent the next business day.
Real-World Examples
- Example A: Trigger at 9:50 AM ET (Mon) → morning window → funds by ~1:30 PM local time Monday.
- Example B: Trigger at 2:10 PM ET (Tue) → midday window → funds by ~5:00 PM local time Tuesday.
- Example C: Trigger at 5:05 PM ET (Wed) → after last window → submits next business day (Thu) → funds Thursday afternoon/evening.
- Weekend/Holiday: Trigger at 3:00 PM ET (Sat) → ACH closed → submits next business day (Mon).
How it Works in DealNow
Both parties complete DealNow steps and Dealer authorizes payment.
DealNow verifies the transaction and triggers your ACH payout.
We submit your payout to the next available Same Day ACH window.
- If missed, it goes in the next window that day.
- If after the last cutoff, it submits the next business day.
- Your bank posts funds according to ACH rules and its own posting cycle.
FAQ & Important Notes
- “Funds available” means when your bank makes money available, not just when ACH settles.
- Cutoff and settlement times are set by the ACH network; DealNow cannot change your bank’s posting speed.
- If your bank misses a required availability deadline, contact your bank directly and notify DealNow Support.

If your deal is already closed, you can go to your sold deals tab, select the deal you want, and then open the "Transaction Summary" to see if the funds have been moved out of the buyer's account and if they have moved into your account.
